EMDR

EMDR has really helped me. I've dug into early trauma and I've also used it for anxiety. I'm always amazed at how much it makes me sleep and really process things I wasn't able to before. Has anyone here had experience with this therapy? I'll post 2 links in comments for self administered EMDR.

anyone have experience with EMDR. I am suppose to start it in a few weeks for my depression because really nothing else has worked.

Hi. Just having a HIGH anxiety day. I have surgery tomorrow morning (laparoscopic & hysteroscopic). My nerves are getting the best of me as I’ve only ever had one surgery (tonsillectomy at 5), and I woke up mid surgery. I have been working with my therapist who is using EMDR therapy on me. It has helped, but knowing tomorrow... I am nervous!

Has anyone in here ever received emdr therapy for ptsd? I just started and I wanted to ask some questions like did it help and how, and how long does it take? I’ve just started and I’m excited for it but im trying not to get my hopes up that it will change my life.
