Hypersomnia

I’ve been having a lot of trouble staying awake while watching tv. It has started to annoy my boyfriend, especially when he can’t wake me up (over the phone). Anyone have any ideas how to stay awake? I get so much sleep, but I’m still tired all the time. Is this just depression or could it be hypersomnia?

My biggest problem right now is Hypersomnia. I keep falling into a really deep sleep at work and my coworker struggles to wake me up and when I do wake up, I’m confused and don’t know where I am for about a minute. My concern is how hard it is for me to wake up and the fact that I’m waking up confused. This has never happened before.

So today I went to see my sleep doctor and told me that my Hypersomnia is greatly bad and of course I’m not sure but I looked it up online but maybe someone knows this answer . Does Hypersomnia increase your depression and anxiety ?
