Hypertension

Worst two days I have had in a while. I am barely holding on. I have had dizziness so bad I cannot walk, now headaches. I took nitric oxide supplements for years for a vascular disease made worse in Afghanistan. Now I am having a reaction to those supplements and even to my hypertension medicine. I have had some good weeks but I am definitely worse now than I have been. No idea how to adjust my medicine or what to do next. This is so horrible I want to pass out.

My doctor found out part of what's wrong. I have a disorder called intracranial hypertension. She isn't certain if something else is causing it, so there will be more tests. It's good to know at least part of the puzzle.😀

Hi, I’m new and just wanted to introduce myself! ☺️ My name is Hannah. I’ve been diagnosed with severe Intracranial Hypertension, (with a shunt) non-epileptic seizures, and POTS - there are several others we suspect but I’m not officially diagnosed with yet. Hi WanaFam! I've been quiet lately, as my symptoms from intracranial hypertension became really severe. It made me really depressed. Went to my doctor, and she suspects I have another illness that showed up at the same time. So I'm having a MRI of my spine. I'm somewhat relieved. IH is hard to treat, but whatever the other one is may not be. When I was lost and looking for a friend, a few of you offered some great encouragement. I'm hoping I can give some of that back now.
