Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

happy for my steps I’m making towards recovery, including signing up for an intensive outpatient program. it’s not an easy time having ARFID but I know I can do it. I deserve a full and whole life.

to take next semester off. I know it’s the best for me in my mind and heart and knew it from the second I was talking to my college’s student development specialist (louise is great). proud of myself and I know fully dedicating myself to ARFID recovery will be worth it in the long run. ❤️

so tired of not being okay... I really think ARFID is doing a number on me. I know I’m malnourished and have all these health issues because of it but I just can’t seem to bring myself to eat consistently. I feel so incredibly weak all the time, and just threw up again this morning. happy that I at least am calling right after I make this post to do intake.

tagging as anorexia for exposure even though it’s actually ARFID... does anyone else deal with this? I have issues with eating / food groups / trauma / bodily reactions and it’s caused a host of health issues but I have no body image issues. reach out if you have
